Odoo is not a suite of modules, it is a flow: everything that moves ends up as an accounting entry. So the order of installation is not a project detail, it is a structural decision.
Plugging in CRM or the sales module first is opening the tap before laying the pipework. It fills up — except that it pours into a chart of accounts that does not exist yet. The data is not lost, it is wrong, which is worse: nobody sees it for several months.
